Hilton Beijing Wangfujing

Tian'Anmen Square and Wangfujing Area Beijing|0.18km from Wangfujing
1. Location is fantastic. Within walking distance to the shopping street and the forbidden city. The subway station is just below the shopping mall next door. If you want shopping, food and site-see, this location is the most convenient! 2. The front desk and the concierge are the 2 services that we troubled regularly during our stay of 6 nights. All Chinese site-seeing locations must be pre-booked and the applications are only Chinese-nationals friendly. Without a Chinese ID or a Chinese mobile number, it was impossible to help yourselves, even though we had Wechat and Alipay pre-installed and tested before we left Singapore. 3. Front desk team, Leon was the one who checked us in. He struggled to find us rooms on the same floor due to the peak season (23-29 Dec). We were given rooms on separate floor but he gave us lift access to both floors and apologized profusely for the wait and gave us vouchers for drinks at the cafe, which we did not use. 4. Concierge team led by Elvis with Alan and Wendy helping, was a fantastic team. Elvis had to use his mobile to help us book Great-Wall tickets, which we paid him through WeChat. During which, someone wanted his help, but he politely tell the guy to wait since he has started helping us first. Polite and put his point across without creating a scene. 5. Alan from the concierge team was the one that got us a table at their Christmas eve dinner. They first offered us a 4-seater table squeezing in 6, to be shared with another 2. We turned down the offer and was prepared to end up eating street food or order room service. But on the day itself, he saw us coming back and offered us another table, because they decided to add in more tables, which we took. It was a fantastic buffet dinner with free flow of alcohol and drinks. The highlight was the cutting of a huge blue-fin tuna. The price for the dinner per pax (don't remember how much now) was a fraction of what have to pay in Singapore. The amount of alcohol and tuna sashimi that we had was enough to recoup the dinner price ! 6. Another observation (now that we have been to Harbin Shangrila after Beijing, we have a comparison) : at the breakfast restaurant, the reception could recognize us on the 2nd day, and remembered our room numbers and that we are family of 4! The training of service staff paying such attention to details can only mean that they believe in service to the core. 7. If you are going to Beijing, consider no where else but Hilton at Wangfujing. I know I will be there again !

The Peninsula Beijing

Tian'Anmen Square and Wangfujing Area Beijing|0.46km from Wangfujing
There are slight flaws overall, but of course Peninsula’s service is nothing to say! Just a few minor flaws to correct: 1. I asked for an extra quilt on the day of check-in. The waiter brought it to my door and didn't pay attention at first. Later when I wanted to use it, I found two spots-like stains and forgot to take pictures; 2. The breakfast was too ordinary. Simple, just the standard of a 4-diamond hotel, and it’s a bit disappointing that it’s semi-buffet; 3. My mother didn’t go to breakfast for the 2 nights of my stay, so I took my child and calculated the cost for my child was 158 yuan/breakfast, and I refunded the money without any communication or exchange. It will be deducted when you check in; 4. The mini bar charge is a bit inhumane. After all, the mini bar is free now. How about charging a few bottles of drinks for a room rate of 3800 yuan a night? How about charging 88 yuan for a bottle of Coke with a market price of 2.5 yuan? ! What? advantage: 1. Good service! good service! good service! It made me feel at home. Every employee provided sincere service with a smile. The quality of Peninsula’s employees is top-notch! I’m sure the hotel treats its employees well; 2.10.3 coincided with the wedding anniversary, and the concierge decorated the room! Thank you so much! As far as this is concerned, the above shortcomings are insignificant! Overall, the flaws outweigh the flaws! The Peninsula brand is here, and it deserves it! 3. I would like to express my special thanks to Ren Jie from the concierge department. Thanks to him for helping me coordinate, my wife and kids and I had a pleasant 3-day vacation! Of course, I would also like to thank all the Peninsula staff for their considerate service! I will stay at Peninsula again in the future! Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing are all leaders in the entire industry and region; 4. Through communication, some defects were well handled in the end. Through the real experience and feedback of our guests, Peninsula can continue to make progress and always stay far ahead in the industry! ! !

Madison Hotel Wangfujing Tiananmen Beijing

Tian'Anmen Square and Wangfujing Area
The hotel I originally stayed at was unavailable for some reason. Thanks to the Ctrip platform for helping me switch to this hotel. The hotel is located very close to Wangfujing Street and a four- to five-minute walk from Wangfujing Subway. It is absolutely convenient to travel. The lobby of the hotel is bright and clean, and the entire decoration style is modern, light and luxurious, very fashionable. The rooms are equipped with smart lights, the bedding is comfortable, and the bathroom is large and clean. There is also a laundry area in the public area, which is convenient for business travelers who want to stay for a few more nights. The restaurant environment is very good, and the breakfast variety is also rich. The hotel's front desk waiters, restaurant waiters, and room waiters all have very good attitudes and will proactively greet you warmly. The stay experience was very good, I will choose it next time
Mandarin Oriental Wangfujing Beijing

We chose Mandarin Oriental Wangfujing for our last night in Beijing. As soon as we entered the hotel, we felt the warm reception of the staff. They accompanied us to the room, introduced us to the hotel's facilities and gave us some gifts, which made me feel In the strong Spring Festival atmosphere, we tasted fruits and desserts and then went to the restaurant to enjoy the set meal provided by the hotel. It was by no means a perfunctory free snack, but a full table. The taste was also very delicious. My husband and I came here in the evening The long-awaited bar was also very delicious. Later we had a great time and ordered several special cocktails. Every service staff here was full of enthusiasm. Finally, special thanks to Alex, Nana and Lenny. The warm reception and the souvenirs given to us were really attentive. In the future, I will still choose Mandarin Oriental as my first choice. We deserve to treat every guest who stays at the hotel with care!

The room was okay. We booked a room with no windows. When we arrived at the hotel, we saw that we were taking our children and they upgraded us to a room with small windows. I would like to say thank you. After all, Huangcheng is a place where land is at a premium and traffic is still a problem. It’s very convenient. APM and department stores are just outside the door... The food, drinks and luxury jewelry shopping are all great👍👍👍

The location of the hotel is very good! There is a subway station nearby and it is very convenient to go to other attractions. The hotel room is large and clean. There is a washing machine room downstairs and a robot delivers food to the room. The hotel's front desk service is very good. We were checked in early when we arrived at the hotel. , the only dissatisfaction is the bathroom. There is no towel rack or hook in the bathroom, which is very inconvenient. I hope the hotel can improve...
