Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Especially the staff who wearing blue work uniform,they call him Benmen maybe,he was really supportive staff,he is super nice,he taught me how to call the driver on the Uber and not be tricked by the driver.Everything he can help.I felt thankful to him.Also location was quite and safe.They have updated my room,the room was great and big enough,every room have balcony.The design of hotel was excellent.and there are cafe,cinema,shops.It’s very convenient. I felt so comfortable to stayed in AL MASA hotel. I will choose here if i go to Cairo again

+ Very good location, very clean, modern room, nice heated pool, very good selection of breakfast items, very friendly staff + they gave late check out for free till 4 pm when requested in the morning, very helpful as our outbound flight was in the evening - The directions at airport could have been better to take the trolley to the airport walk bridge (not hotel's fault). -The queue at checkout was long, so keep spare time aside to reach the airport check-in on time. - The key card stopped working at 12pm even though a late checkout was offered. I had to go to the reception to get it reactivated

If we consider Egyptian standards, this hotel in Cairo is probably one of the best. If we refer to the European standards of 5-star Kempinski hotels, there would be a lot to correct. From the fact that the staff should respects privacy (they just walk into the room, while I were naked going to shower and then leave, without apologizing and laughing loudly), to the fact that there is a glass screen in the shower (same in 3 different rooms) leaking water, floods the bathroom or, say, the security service harassing you at 2 in the morning because of a ”suspicious” item in the suitcase, although the same thing was in the suitcase of the previous two arrivals and no one paid attention (it was a steam iron). In general, the staff is forced to be polite and they are very slow. Just a very kind restaurant receptionist and one nice waiter in Osman restaurant. I believe that this is the maximum that Kempinski manages to achieve in terms of its own standards considering the mentality of Egypt.

Semiramis Intercontinntal is the best IHG properties. Every time I stay at this hotel my loyalty to IHG increase. It has a great local ion facing the Nile river and located at the center of Cairo. All hotel staff are professional and very friendly which makes you feel that you are at your home with your family. Room size is large and very clean. On top of that, the hotel is taking all hygiene measures into account. When it comes to the food, the hotel have many choices and all are having a great taste. Semiramis Intercontinental is positively way far than many of IHG other properties. At the end I would like to send special thank to Mr. Mohamed Senousi, Mr, Mahmoud Yahya, Mr. Gergis Mikhael, Mr. Michel Yacoub, Mr. Hassan Mohammed ( Night & Day Restaurant) and Mr. Ehab Fawzy.

But the wifi connection in room is very poor, same with room service, no one answered the calls, either it was purposely disconnected (wasnt sure about this) or the phone picked up and left unanswered (you literally could hear the staffs talking and laughing on the background).

自埃及發生革命以來,這裏的遊客銳減,所以酒店業在苦苦掙扎(婚禮、訂婚、聚會等),所以開羅的大酒店幾乎晚上都會有些聚會噪音。不過酒店有不同朝向的房間,遠離噪音,如果晚上有噪音的話,可以將東西都放在一間房間,而去另一間房睡覺-問題解決得很好,而且客服很好。我對飲食有特殊要求,他們也解決得很好,跟酒店每間餐廳的大廚說明,所以可以給我們準備合適的食物。管理層隨時確保我們住得愉快,如果有任何小問題,他們會儘力想辦法解決。這點很重要,因為世界上沒什麼是完美的,如果酒店能做到這樣盡心盡責,那麼就已經很稱職了,這裏就是開羅一家這麼傑出的酒店。之前我們經常住Sofitel El Gezirah酒店,不過革命之後就變了,所以第一次來Fairmont體驗就這麼棒。我們在英國預訂阿爾法房間,房費很便宜,而且酒店的一切設施都非常好,絲毫不覺得任何方面價錢太貴。離開之前我們還申請成為Fairmont總統俱樂部會員,住宿期間可以享受免費WIFI,可以免費使用電腦,所以我強烈建議你也這麼做,否則的話WIFI費用很貴。退房之後到機場以後,我們發現落了一樣東西在酒店,值班經理(Mahmoud Abd El Aziz)馬上拍了一名司機快速地將東西送到機場給我們-這樣的服務真是棒。他們甚至沒向我們收費(當然我們給司機小費了),但是這樣絲毫不索取的服務態度真是令我們感動,尤其在埃及索取小費成風。酒店員工從來不會讓我們覺得不舒服,這跟其它五星級酒店很不同,那裡員工服務都是要求小費的。很多員工都很優秀,儘管我們記不清他們所有人的名字(我們應該寫下來),不過我們記得在天空泳池的一名員工,Emad Girgis(我覺得他應該是領班)在客服方面真的非常出色,讓我們感覺很受歡迎,滿足我們所有要求-他絕對無可挑剔。雖然治安很嚴,但這是個優點。我唯一的小不滿是SPA,任何服務都需要提前24小時預訂,不能在早上興之所至地過去做個服務。(那裡一共衹有3名理療師,儘管SPA很大很漂亮)。不過如果你一切都安排得很有條理的話,至少提前一天預訂,應該沒有任何問題。總之,住得很愉快,這家酒店經營非常好。這裏的客服也沒得說。在酒店可以坐打表的出租車,所以價錢也不貴,不過司機有時候可能會繞圈)我們第一天就發現了,計程器上顯示的距離比酒店告訴我們的多了一倍,而且回程時坐的另一輛出租車便宜很多)。所以我們跟願意出酒店之後在街邊攔一輛出租車,商量好價錢,這樣就能在最短的時間內到我們想去的地方。如果頭兩三輛出租車要價很高的話,也別灰心,出租車太多了,一定會等到價錢合理的出租車的。

The room was very beautiful. The hotel is situated in old buildings andhas old furniture but thats whats giving it its special spirit. The pool is avarage size-not big, not small and the deep is around 165cm. The water needs to be cleaned. But its very good for kids and also for adults. In the night there were swimming courses for kids from outside the hotel, which made the garden area very crowded and noisy. Our big thanks belongs to Mai from reception. She was very proffesional, helpfull and made our stay comfortable.

The hotel was terrible, upon entering the lobby, people were smoking inside. And my room was SO old, it did not look like the booking page photos, the bathtub was all scratched, the bathroom just looked so old and gross. The vent was NOISY and smelly. The sofa looked like it was 20 years old and all dented. The bed did not look made. Pillows looked like it had just been slept on. The lamp shade was crooked. The carpet looked so dirty. This hotel is in need of a renovation. I couldn’t stay there after what I saw and requested a change of room. And they were able to put me in the new annex and it looked much more acceptable and normal there.

We arrived to Cairo to stay at the marriot hotel, a former beautiful palace. Unfortunately and even though we were given a really nice garden view room, we had some problems (noises) with the bathroom pipes during the night. Nevertheless the following day we explained the problem and we were not only changed without any question but offered an even better room! Thanks Qamar for all your help! I would never recommend this hotel to any of my friends and family, their management sucks, zero customer service. I came from California for a week for my cousin wedding, I booked seven nights Though chase sapphire who uses Expedia, and after one night my plans changed. I contacted the hotel to see if I can checkout 2 nights early, they said your reservation was prepaid through Expedia and I need to call Them for approval, I called Expedia and because of time difference they couldn’t reach the reservation department that only operates from 8am to 5 pm. I was then told to call back during the hotel business hours, I called back the next day I was told by Expedia that they are ok with me checking out early but they will need to contact the hotel for partial refund. I was placed on hold then I was told that they couldn’t get hold of anyone from the hotel, they’ll try again and then they’ll call me back once they are able to reach them. I asked the front desk employees to please respond when Expedia try to call them and I was straight was lied to my face and was told that the this has nothing to do with the hotel because and it’s Expedia decision since I paid through them. Next day I called Expedia back to find out that the hotel declined early checkout credit, I asked to speak to a manger, the front desk manager lied to me again it’s not up to the hotel it’s up to Expedia not knowing that I already called Expedia and the customer service representative was reading the response from the hotel notes, I confronted the manager when he found out that I had Expedia on the speaker phone he asked me to mute them so he lie to me again and tells me whatever BS he needs without Expedia hearing it, very unprofessional big scammers.

What an amazing and luxurious hotel it is. We enjoyed our one week stay and had one of the best experiences ever in Cairo. It all started with meeting Nabil the doorman with his beautiful smile and then with Yousef at the reception desk who helped us with our check in. Mostafa and Arafa from the house keeping, made our stay amazing with paying attention to details with their beautiful smile and attitude. Also Ibrahim as well made it a pleasant experience. To top it up Hashem the house keeping supervisor also made sure our needs are met and everything is to our liking. Abdullah El Sayed, ohhh ohhh what an amazing guy he is. Every morning made sure we are taken care off from our coffee, juices to making sure I have my specialty Egyptian breakfast made up to my likings. Fresh Iskandarani fool, taameya and to top it up feeteer meshaltet with 3assal. WOWWWW. Abdullah made sure to remember my type of coffee without asking (decaf coffee). Also Amr did an amazing job taking care of us when Abdullah is serving other tables. Sayed Farouk the lounge supervisor also made sure to receive our feedback with a great attitude and smile and we really enjoyed our conversation with him. Ayman, with his amazing smile and shisha, always made sure we are hooked the whole evening and with our couple visits to the restaurant. The pool team were unbelievable from Mohamad to Ayman with all the time amazing smile to Sameh at the aqua restaurant. These guys made our stay at the pool so great with paying attention to everything we need. The spa team were also amazing from Lobna to captain Hassan. The service was more than we asked for. Sameh Mahrous, what an amazing person he is with his beautiful smile and great talk we had. He is always there every afternoon at the lobby taking care of the customers and their needs. To top it up, we also received a follow up phone call from the hotel after 2 days to make sure we were satisfied with our stay. The Nile Ritz-Carlton Cairo is an amazing hotel with top notch service. Keep it up team and I hope to see you all again very soon.

The room is neat and clean, the restaurant is good, staffs are cooperative. Good to stay. The hotel is far from the city center, do shopping is not easy. The travel services to visit tourist spots provided by the Taxi booth of the hotel (named Last Minute travel services) was not up to the mark. The driver dropped me on the Egyptian museum and he was supposed to stay at the gate. But when I come back visiting the museum, I did not find him. Then I called him and he declined the call. I sent him message , he responded sending message after half an hour without giving any specific time of coming. I was puzzled, waiting and waiting. Then I was thinking to hire another Taxi. Finally he came after more than an hour. The services provided was also costly. I could hire a Taxi using the APP less than half price. On the way back, it was planned to take me a super store for buying dry fruits. But he did not took me to a right store. It was felt to me that he did it intentionally.

The best thing about this hotel is definitely the hospitality of the owners who were always willing to help and chat with us about what we needed or where we wanted to go. Very appreciative of them for that! The room is comfortable enough with working AC and good size bathroom, but be prepared for the noise of traffic from outside as it’s close to a main road. Wifi also didn’t connect well in our room but maybe better for others. Breakfast is simple and more Egyptian/Arabic in style with pita, falafel, cheese and eggs + juice box.

What an amazing and luxurious hotel it is. We enjoyed our one week stay and had one of the best experiences ever in Cairo. It all started with meeting Nabil the doorman with his beautiful smile and then with Yousef at the reception desk who helped us with our check in. Mostafa and Arafa from the house keeping, made our stay amazing with paying attention to details with their beautiful smile and attitude. Also Ibrahim as well made it a pleasant experience. To top it up Hashem the house keeping supervisor also made sure our needs are met and everything is to our liking. Abdullah El Sayed, ohhh ohhh what an amazing guy he is. Every morning made sure we are taken care off from our coffee, juices to making sure I have my specialty Egyptian breakfast made up to my likings. Fresh Iskandarani fool, taameya and to top it up feeteer meshaltet with 3assal. WOWWWW. Abdullah made sure to remember my type of coffee without asking (decaf coffee). Also Amr did an amazing job taking care of us when Abdullah is serving other tables. Sayed Farouk the lounge supervisor also made sure to receive our feedback with a great attitude and smile and we really enjoyed our conversation with him. Ayman, with his amazing smile and shisha, always made sure we are hooked the whole evening and with our couple visits to the restaurant. The pool team were unbelievable from Mohamad to Ayman with all the time amazing smile to Sameh at the aqua restaurant. These guys made our stay at the pool so great with paying attention to everything we need. The spa team were also amazing from Lobna to captain Hassan. The service was more than we asked for. Sameh Mahrous, what an amazing person he is with his beautiful smile and great talk we had. He is always there every afternoon at the lobby taking care of the customers and their needs. To top it up, we also received a follow up phone call from the hotel after 2 days to make sure we were satisfied with our stay. The Nile Ritz-Carlton Cairo is an amazing hotel with top notch service. Keep it up team and I hope to see you all again very soon.

Semiramis Intercontinntal is the best IHG properties. Every time I stay at this hotel my loyalty to IHG increase. It has a great local ion facing the Nile river and located at the center of Cairo. All hotel staff are professional and very friendly which makes you feel that you are at your home with your family. Room size is large and very clean. On top of that, the hotel is taking all hygiene measures into account. When it comes to the food, the hotel have many choices and all are having a great taste. Semiramis Intercontinental is positively way far than many of IHG other properties. The location is really central, right opposite the Egypt Museum and can be found easily on Uber. The best thing about this hotel is definitely the hospitality of the owners who were always willing to help and chat with us about what we needed or where we wanted to go. Very appreciative of them for that! The room is comfortable enough with working AC and good size bathroom, but be prepared for the noise of traffic from outside as it’s close to a main road. Wifi also didn’t connect well in our room but maybe better for others. Breakfast is simple and more Egyptian/Arabic in style with pita, falafel, cheese and eggs + juice box.

In general, it is not bad for me to stay in a single room with a common bathroom for 10 nights. Above all, I would like to express my gratitude to the staff's efforts to manage the City Hostel clean which is too old and out fashioned building. * Location & Transportation Without noise, it is the best location to stay. It is located at 2 2-minute walk distance from Attaba subway station that connects to the Ramsis Railway Station and the Egypt Museum, only 1~3 stops away, charging 6 EGP per way. Of course, you can go to both by walk in 20 minutes. It means you can also enjoy the Nile riverside which is close to the museum. And it is a 2-minute walk distance from the Attaba market which is the biggest public market in Cairo and so many locals visit to buy their livelihoods stuff at a cheap price. In addition, you can also walk to the Al Azhar Mosque and Khan El-Khalili traditional market in 30 minutes, and St. Marc Coptic Orthodox Cathedral in AL Azbakeya in 10 minutes Two problems I experienced are firstly the noi⁹sy from 8 am to 3 am outside the building due to market area and cars' horns. It took 3 days for me to adapt it. Any room in the hostel cannot escape it without changing the windows to soundproof ones. If you are sensitive to sound, it is better to find other lodges in a residential area or modernized ones. Secondly, its location on the Uber taxi map and other maps is not accurate, so drivers have some problems in finding the city hostel. I have to meet them in front of the KFC next to the Attaba subway station. The signboard of the hotel is too small to recognize it. * Building and room conditions Like many other buildings in Cairo, the hostel building is old and shabby. The interior design and facilities are also outdated. However, the staff manages it so clean, particularly a common toilet and shower room. It is quite convenient a washstand in each room. However, it is bad there is no electronic kettle to boil water in a room or a common space. I could not enjoy my tea or coffee time at any time. I have to ask for hot drink water every morning when receiving breakfast, and store it in my tumbler. It will be better to provide a tea or coffee service area in the hostel. * Cleanness & Safety Cleanness and safety are very good. I have no issue with this. * Services There is no basic service that most guesthouses provide in general: toilet paper and drink water. Wifi is too weak to use the internet. Other services like laundry are satisfied. * Others During my stay, I couldn't enjoy having an exchange time with other travelers. I think it is because there is no reason to stay in a common space where only sofas and a table are. Largely guesthouse provides a commonplace where guests enjoy better the internet or drinks including tea or coffee and foods, which makes guests meet each other naturally and structurally. In conclusion, if the hostel provides basic services like toilet paper and commonplace with drink water and electronic kettles, it will be much better. And it is necessary to change its signboard so that is more recognizable. Except issues I mentioned above, it is a very good budget lodge.

The hotel was terrible, upon entering the lobby, people were smoking inside. And my room was SO old, it did not look like the booking page photos, the bathtub was all scratched, the bathroom just looked so old and gross. The vent was NOISY and smelly. The sofa looked like it was 20 years old and all dented. The bed did not look made. Pillows looked like it had just been slept on. The lamp shade was crooked. The carpet looked so dirty. This hotel is in need of a renovation. I couldn’t stay there after what I saw and requested a change of room. And they were able to put me in the new annex and it looked much more acceptable and normal there.
