Considering some, so called, four star places we've stayed in, on this tour, we couldn't believe this was only a three star. Beautiful grounds, lovely room, clean and comfortable. Pool is clean and well used. Staff are friendly, efficient and helpful. We ate at the hotel, the food was good, beautifully presented and reasonably priced. Dinner for two, half a bottle of delicious Indian red wine and a couple of glasses of juice cost just under £30. Two *******. Firstly they have a no drinks rule by the pool. After a couple of weeks of abstinence in the dry state of Gujarati, I was looking forward to a cold beer by the pool. In fact there was nowhere to sit outside with friends and have a drink. The other ****** is after we were in our room we had two interruptions, firstly to bring a bath mat and a box of tissues, secondly to bring some slippers to wear to the pool. We felt they were just fishing for a tip, and after a long day's travelling they got short shrift from us! Only small *******, otherwise an excellent place to stay.
