Agriturismo Sweet Cottage

Wasn’t sure what to expect way out in the country, but Exceeded our expectations. Very cute, and quaint. We arrived later than expected and they were very accommodating and left the key for us. Would stay there again. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast could of been better with more protein and less sweets, but that’s the only thing.

If I could give 0 stars I would. From the get go the staff are incredibly rude. Our room was, at best, average and right next to the kitchen which meant we were rudely awoken at the early hours. We opted not to have breakfast as we are not breakfast people and were asked in a very cheeky manner ‘what? Is our food not good enough for you?’ The food. When we stayed here we had already been travelling around Italy for 2 weeks and this was by far the most expensive and most awful food we had. The chicken was clearly off and I could smell it was off as soon as it was out down in front of us, I told the wait staff and got fobbed off. Honestly please save your money and stay elsewhere especially as the price you pay definitely did not correlate with the experience. We were meant to stay a week and left after 1 night.

Absolutely beautiful! There are no words to describe the peace & calmness you can feel when you’re there. It’s pure soulfood. Eveything is made with so much love & kindness. If you wanna switch off for a few days- that’s the place. We will definitely be back but for a longer stay!

We had a very unpleasant experience at this property, we arrived at our accommodation and were told that we couldn’t check in with our babies. I previously called, txted and messaged the property via *********** to ensure our babies could come (as the property does have no children under 12 policy) otherwise I would have cancelled well in advance and I explained that to the hosts well in advance, however we were told it was okay. Bizarrely, when we arrived we were told that one baby was allowed but not two. It was an extremely stressful experience, hosts at the property were quite rude and kept changing the reason why the babies couldn’t stay - first that they didn’t have beds for them, then that we couldn’t use our own baby beds in their room and finally that they didn’t want them in the pool/outdoors area. We travel a lot and this is the first time we have had such bad experience, we have a rental property ourselves and we really appreciate what it is like to be a host but this experience was beyond poor. We had to search for another accommodation and drive another 1.5 hr to get there with two 12 month old babies in extreme heat. Hosts didn’t offer any support and were quite rude, after we left they tried to charge our card for this booking even though they wouldn’t allow us to stay. It’s such a pity as it seems to be a really beautiful place but the customer service was appalling. Also, nobody at the property spoke English and I can see from trip advisor that this place is advertised as English speaking.
