Every time I choose a hotel near Galeries Lafayette. I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel, newly renovated, a few minutes walk from Galeries Lafayette. The front desk is all handsome and beautiful, and the service is in place. The room is bright, clean and comfortable, I really don't like the dim lighting in some hotels in Paris. I like their outdoor restaurant, it should be Japanese style, it's amazing. Of course the hotel price is not cheap hahaha

We stayed two nights as a Diamond member and this was my 2nd visit having tried it as one of the first guests before they officially opened to the public. From check in to checkout we were so impressed and felt so welcome. We got given an absolutely amazing upgrade to a lovely suite that was just perfect and a bottle of champagne waiting for us. The bed is heavenly and the bath tub too :). Thank you so much to all the staff there who made us feel so welcome and personal. The only slight negative i would say is their breakfast - it didn’t feel fitting for a hotel of this quality as there was not much buffet choice and the concept maybe needs rethinking. But let this not put you off the hotel is a gem. I also stayed in the Intercontintal le grand after this stay and the KIMPTON blew it away for me and most of all i felt comfortable here. Can’t wait to come back

The hotel is very beautiful. The lobby and cafe are in Rococo style, and the walls are covered with works by French Impressionist painters. The room is not big, but I booked a balcony room. Booked the larger room that was available and it was very good size, can't imagine a lot of the hotels in Paris offers as much space. Very family friendly hotel in the sense of how we were treated, didn't feel for a second as traveling with a baby was an issue for them which the the rest of Paris kind of did. We usually pick hotels that have a great location. This hotel is in a fantastic location. In addition, the staff is extremely friendly! I have no complaints about the staff at all. The only reason I gave the hotel four stars is because of the rooms. The deluxe room is a great size, but some of the shampoo bottles weren't filled. There was also questionable stains on the chaise (oh dear). There was also a hole in the ceiling. When we went, the hotel did let us know there would be no hot water for a couple hours and that they were experiencing varying water temperatures (from cold to hot). However, these issues are not the end of the world. There will always be issues no matter where you go. The executive lounge at the top is great for night snacks that runs from 530 to 730. The lounge closes at 11 pm. There is a wide variety of seating and drinks. Definitely worth visiting also for nice views.

The French chain hotel Astoria I stayed at was personally better than Ibis. The price was about 800 including double breakfast, but it was worth 100 yuan in Paris to send 6 bottles of water and drinks every day, and the room was clean and tidy. Staff, concierge, and services were great. It does have a small elevator, but its new and not meant for a football team. Breakfast had excellent coffee and choices to get going. The breakfast experience was pleasant, and started the day great. The room was clean and updated, good shower, linens, and there is a safe. Small, but we didn't intend on spending any time in the room. the location works great, small walk to subway (didn't use because of the strikes) small walk to the local train station, and Roissey bus which is also not bad to use. The bus was not running when we came in, so we took an overpriced cab. (don't do that). Very short walk if you average 3-4 miles a day like we did, to the Louvre, place de la Concorde, Orangerie, D'Orsay, and Isle de la Citie. (in another direction, Eiffel tower isn't far). Lots of dining nearby, ATM, groceries. Again, staff was helpful with our bad French, and it all worked out great.

The bed was cozy and the modern amenities allowed us to relax and enjoy our stay to the fullest. We were also impressed with the overall cleanliness of the hotel, from the lobby to the common areas, everything was impeccably maintained. However, what really made the difference was the exceptional staff at the hotel. The manager, Jihad, was always present during the day, personally ensuring that every detail was taken care of to make our stay memorable. His kindness and professionalism are to be commended. I would also like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Doudou, a truly fabulous member of staff. His considerate attitude and his dedication during a small technical incident are to be underlined. He provided us with personalized service that made our stay truly special. Also to highlight, the remarkable breakfast that was offered. A real banquet for the taste buds, it offered an incredible choice of savory and sweet dishes. Different cereals, fresh fruits, a variety of fresh juices, as well as different breads and baguettes which were just very good. Also the coffee served was well made from a well known brand (What Else?) which added an extra touch to our morning dining experience. It remains to say that the hotel is ideally located if you want to visit the great monuments and the Place de Paris...the Place de la Concorde, Place Vendôme, and other Faubourg St Honoré are 10-15 minutes away. feet and the path that leads you there allows you to do some shopping. In conclusion, the hotel Maison Albar Le Diamond undoubtedly deserves all the praise. With warm and smiling service, magnificent decor, comfortable and spotlessly clean rooms, this establishment exceeded all my expectations. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience. Thanks again to Jihad, Doudou and the whole team for their exceptional hospitality.

The guy at the reception at the check in didn't know at all the hotel, as he said that the room was on the back side and didn't know about the bed. Breakfast was ok, but the cheeses, cold cuts and juices are kept in a small fridge on the floor, and this is a bit uncomfortable for elder people. Tables are really small, I think that that size is good for one person. In addition, there were staff people for the breakfast but in the end they were just removing the dirty plates from the tables and put clean ones and no giving any additional assistance (like for example put the food outside the fridge)... then for the rest just talking between themselves in a small room facing the breakfast room.

The pluses of this place are the central location and the friendly reception staff. Apart from this, I was quite disappointed. The rooms are small. I was there for a long multi week stay and asked to be moved to a larger room. It took 3 days to get a slightly bigger room but still very small and depressing for a long term stay. My shower tube broke and it took two days to repair — in the meantime I had to shower with a bucket. Some will not like that there is a soup kitchen in the street a few times a week but it didn’t bother me. I think the place could be fine for a few days but it’s definitely not the “apart hotel” experience I expected.
