Having used Dedeman hotels for over 25 years I was surprised that the food service had been subcontracted to a firm with no menus, no pricing policy, demanding cash at time of service. Food quality was terrible and only slightly improved with a complaint to the General Manager.
Room AC not working - room was changed but inconvenient
This will be the last time I use a Dedeman hotel anywhere which is a shame after such long good service
Clear policy of reducing service levels to increase profits with no regard for customer service levels

I have stayed at Istanbul dedeman before and that one was great. The hotel as a CHAIN is 5 start but this one was more like 3. I’m not sure if there’s many great hotels to stay in the area as it’s the middle of nowhere so maybe if you look at it that way it’s ok. Room was decent although there were stains on the floors. Bed was comfy. Wi-Fi is good although it wasn’t working when we first got there. They advertise the place as having a great fitness center but apparently it was under construction when I got there. Although I think they were lying because Turks don’t care all that much about fitness soooooo I’m pretty sure they were constructing anything. The front desk was RUDE. Food was super mediocre. It was all kind of eh.

Daha önce çok bakımsız olan oteli harika yapmışlar. Herşey pırıl pırıl, işletme ilgili, ofalar çok temiz, yepyeni. Eskiden alıştığımız dedeman kalitesini tekrar bulduk. Urfaya geldiğinizde kalabileceğiniz en iyi otellerden olmuş.

Although the outlook of the hotel was old, the rooms were renovated nicely. I used free parking just in front of the hotel, which was fine. It was a nice hotel overall.

Great newly renovated hotel. Very nice rooms and very helpful staff. Mustafa in the front desk is very helpful. All in all very nice clean and liveable place.

The hotel and the staff are amazing!
Ignore all the reviews dating back years ago. I called the hotel prior to my booking and they informed me that the rooms have been remodeled recently and the whole hotel went through a maintenance and restructure. I saw in the reviews that there was a hospital which could be noisy at times and I was informed the hospital got demolished. Well, all true!
Clean rooms, no noise, comfy bed.
A few things I need to mention are that when someone lighted a cigarette in a smoking room, we could sense it because the smoke would come through the ventilation system. The pillows were not comfy for our taste and we asked for thinner pillows and typically, you would expect alternatives from a 5-star hotel, turns out they didn’t have.
Apparently, they took the pandemic time to renovate and refresh. They need some time to fully operate, some services are limited still (restaurant is bot fully open, internet is slow) but they deserve way better reviews than those a few years ago.
Overall, a 5-star hotel but feels like a 4-star. In a small city like this, it’s acceptable!
