Ringhotel Jensen

Three of us booked a room for 3. It was clean and updated. It contained a seperate twin bed room, one bed, large window, closet space, shelving and night stand. The main room contained a desk, stool, chair and king bed. There was a water closet with toilet and sink. There was a seperate room for the shower and sink. Plenty of room for three of us. I think there was a fridge too. The staff was super friendly. Breakfast was outstanding. We booked only the day before, because our reserved airbnb was inadequate. We stayed only one night. Room had no view to speak of, but that was of no consequence to us. We had a short walk to the train station.

FÜR MICH POSITIV: 1. Sehr kurzer Laufweg vom/zum Hauptbahnhof. 2. Nur ca. 10 Minuten Laufweg zur Altstadt und zum Wasser (Trave). Bspw. ist sehr nahe Holsten-Tor gelegen. 3. Supermärkte, Drogeriemärkte u.ä. in Laufnähe. 4. Alles sehr sauber. Muss man mögen. 6.

To entire hotel friendly staff. Everything was clean and tidy, so a positive impression as soon as you entered. Despite the room facing the street, no noise penetrated. Good beds, but these are apart. Nice big shower, everything neat and clean. The staff at the bar were in a good mood even late at night. The breakfast was good, coffee can be selected from two machines. Tasty, small rolls and sufficient toppings are available. Only with the scrambled eggs there is room for improvement. We were pleasantly surprised by the hotel, especially since the city center is within easy walking distance.

The hotel is perfectly located in a quiet area of the old city quarter. The check-in is a bit informal, a bit like in a hostel. Rooms provide all you need: bed, bed tables, table, chair, wardrobe, bathroom with towels, bathtub/shower/hairdryer, soap. Everything is just a little bit run down and could be cleand a bit more carefully. The reception is not always occupied. A breakfast is available at €9 per person but I gave not trued it. The hotel is lacking a bit of cosiness and of professional hospitality but provides good accomodation in a very good location.
